Anyone out there interested in making some rather large glass globes? I have attached photos. Before I actually saw the sample I quoted $150 each, he wants 6. That was in the middle of my 'Im not sure if i should have a beard phase'. but let me tell you.. the beard is the best heat shield ever created ;)

well, I tried that and it is the worst smelling thing in the building when it burns off unexpectedly.

It's a sacrificial safety system. I was thinking little cups sure do look big when you get close enough with the camera!

I made 30 of those...hot popped cylinders.. Final dimensions were 26" tall by 18" wide. The blanks were 32" tall.
