Doug didn't come up through glass academia, so he approached things in entirely different ways. He stopped in to see me a few times on his way South and Back. A very interesting guy who found some interesting niche markets. Hope he hangs in there for a long as he can and wish him luck with his sales.

I wish his place was closer, I'd like to check out some of the things he has.

He may be towards the end, but judging by his tools & toys he enjoyed life.

I have indeed enjoyed it. No fears, no regrets. I did it MY way. LOL
On to the next great adventure.

A marble making machine?!?!???

Yes, and it is trick. I spent a whole month designing, fabricating, testing, and perfecting. Then mothballed it.
I just posted a few pictures on my sale site.
Rolls a marble and gently spits it out when finished. Though usually self-annealing, next was to be a catch tube allowing it to roll into an annealer.
Double roller set up for speedier production. Too many plans, too little time.
