Cant find the earlier post about this topic now. Anyhow just wanted to let you know that Santa fixed my back burn problem. He installed a much smaller retention ring.
I did take your advise and tried a smaller one but his was much smaller.
I also used a smaller burner head made out of a soft brick with holes drilled in it. I have to make a better one but for now I am enjoying the hot glory hole without back burn.
Now tell me why does he have that strange smile on his face.

No wonder these two glassblowers are so serious. It was taken just after the midnight feast . Dont ask what they ate.

I don't think it has so much to do with what they ate. (see cup in hand...)

Never a dull moment with Franklin in Trini-land. Ate a lot of different stuff that I don't know what it was or what it was called. We did get his GH problems worked out and have convinced him to step up to using better cullet from the US othe rthan bottle glass. Does anyone have contacts for freight consolidaters that deal with shipping to the Carribbean? Probably from the port of Miami. I got an education in completely different propane connectors and different fitting on all the tanks. No threads to screw on and off. We did drink a few different type drinks but nothing that seemed to help make better glass. anyone ever drank sorrel? Tenn. Tom
