hey all, the glass pipeline is starting it's 5th year. we are a private email network for glassblowers by glassblowers only. we discuss galleries and the glass business from a profesional glass artists perspective. keep up on no pay and slow payers out there so you can make informed decisions on your business practices. we hav'nt been screwed by any galleries since the pipeline inseption. for info email theglasspipeline@bellsouth.net

any glass worker can join. it's weather or not you will find the info useful. ie do you sell to galleries and need to know how other artists are treated etc. we have several kiln formers in the pipeline now.

For those of you unfamiliar with the pipeline, it is basically a credit referral group which relates how they have been treated by specific galleries and stores. It also has wide ranging discussions about solutions to extending credit without losing clients. It clearly has had an impact as gallery people became increasingly concerned about how they looked on the pipline. Many wanted to join only finding out that the service was not available to them and could only be by referral.
