The aspect of the report that I found most interesting was the use of Sb2O3 in the copper ruby recipe. They seemed to regard it as essential. I've not seen that in the literature before.

That was interesting on the Antimony.

Perhaps the lower percentage of copper supposedly possible that way may be helpful in the quest for a more hard-to-liver Copper Ruby.
