what can be used to fill little areas of pinholes in Kastolite 30? It is purely for ascetics.

Don't. It will flake.

If you get to it before complete setup, like within 48 hours, you can sift some of the castable to get the finer components only and make a surface patch that will work OK. Not for hot face application though.

I'd use chocolate icing. Then when it melts out it will smell fantastic. Fill every day with fresh icing of course.

I've had good results painting thinned sairset on kastolite 30, no spaling or flaking.

Seems to be the only good use for sairset (lousy as morter)
