I have a customer who wants to get something like this for her son, who saw it in a coffetable book about loft apartments in NYC. I contacted the designer of the loft and he can't remember exactly. (ca 1995) so I thought I'd post the photo here and see if anyone can help.

OK, so now we all know I don't know how to post a photo. Let's try that again.....am I supposed to be able to view the photo I post when previewing? I've got it really small, and it still doesn't show on preview. If this doesn't work, I'll wait for suggestions before embarrassing myself again (on this topic, anyway...)

It's 56.1k, but there's two variations of jpeg. I've got it saved now as .jpg, should I be able to see the photo in the preview of the post?

Dave: looked for your work in coda palm desert this weekend, but didn't see any.
Don't you show there?

Slumped pattern bar. Ho-hum in the fusing world these days.

Marty however, has taken things to another level in his work.

Looks familiar, like one of my early boat pieces.

Thanks, Marty. It looked like that to me also from what I can see of the photos that Doug has posted on Flickr. I hope to hear from him soon and see if I can get him in contact with the lady who is interested in something like that.

John, I emailed to the address you provided in your PM. Sent some images and other essentials. Maybe check your bulk mail box as it didn't bounce back at my end.
Also tried to PM you but your Craftweb box which is full.

My other address you could try is:

Thanks Doug. I replied to that email address, and emptied my sent items in pm's which I hope makes me the 100th person to forget that. With any luck, there's some sort of prize.....like a glass monkey with a typewriter......
