I have a customer that wants a piece in royal purple, can anyone recommend a shade to help me from having to order 5 different colors?
Thanks a bunch
Jane

That sounds like Reichenback 14 to me. I use it often.

It's transparent, and is not particularly dense, so you'll want a good chunk of it for a med. size vessel.

It you want it to be opaque, put it on top of z-74 dense white.

This (Hyacinth) purple is purple like grape kool-aid, and doesn't change to gray or black when it gets thinned out; it's still purple, just more transparent.

Cheers, Brice

Yeah, what he said. R14. It's what's in the piece in my avatar

So, with gold up at 850 per oz, what are the prices on gold based rod running these days per KG?

I suppose that as long as those gold colors are being made somewhere where the money is not turning into toilet paper when compared to gold (the only real standard) they will be a deal.

Why not point your customer to the Olympic web site and tell them to pick out the color? If you do this you can try to convince them it's their own fault if they don't like the color.
