Idiotic, stupid, dumb- yes I am all of these for relying on a website I have no control over, to house large sections of my work. www.glassartists.org (and all my pages on it) no longer seems to exist; do any of y’all know what happened? Are my near and dear Online Sketchbook and Post-K New Orleans pages lost forever, or is it just down for maintenance?
Side note: Sorry I have used this wonderful board (thank you Peter), in quite some time (just opened private messages from right after Katrina- THANK YOU!!!!!!!! for all of your support and messages I never opened), as I have a new Post-K joke I tell clients, friends, and family: FREE TIME…. Off to blow glass at NOCGI www.nocgi.org
Warmest regards to all,
Andy
p.s. please keep supporting CERF, y’all have no clue how much they do, till you need them, and they have been big in helping us to rebuild N.O.

looks like a server crash, corrupt DB, or something of the like...it's there but just not the database parts.

(And if you're looking for a Website you can control, I would be happy to discuss that with you.)

well I figured I'd have to add some level of sarcasm to the thread giving the tone of various posts anyway :)

WOW!!!!!!!! Now that's a VERY cool tool!!!!! Many thanks for alls y'alls input. Thanks for the website offer, but I have my own @ http://www.brottworks.com/
Although I am not happy with the fact I can't easily upload images without "IT" help, that's why I used a secondary site (which is now back on line -YEA!!!!!) with some glass related pages at
http://www.glassartists.org/Gal8561_Andrew_Brott_s_Sketch_Book_Site.asp

Thanks for the help, and sorry if I freaked over my own stupidity, but I have a VERY important potential client (will share later if I get the gig), that is reviewing my work this weekend, and am damn glad that www.glassartist.org is back up...
I know it's used primarilily by lampworkers, but I figured some of y'all may have used it in the past. Outside of this small crash, I have found it to be a great glass related site, I can easily share images/stories on.
Warmest regards,
Andy Brott

PV,
He did what!!!! Now I am pissed!!!! I just figured world events, like history and insanity just keep repeating itself, so why bother watching... JK.....
I know I have been a selfish community member (only checking in when I need something), I will try to add more. So if anyone needs UL (Underwriters Laboratory) advice, or my other skewed input I'm happy to help.

AB
p.s. Have yet to rebuild my studio, but with builder #6 there is hope.
