Sad news

I will likely not be around much for a while, on Sat. my father (whom I have not spoken to in some time, and had alegedly died two years ago) passed away (for real this time) from bone cancer.
As you can imagine this has come as a big shock to my family, first to find out he was still alive and second to find out about his illness and then death. I was able to see him before his death and make my piece with him, I owe a lot of who I am because of who he was when I was young, but as I grew up and had my own family it became hard to understand how he could do some of the things he did. Life takes some interesting turns.

"too those we will see tommorow, and those we will miss."

Oh Terry I'm so sorry to hear this. At least you have the peace of mind that you were able to get some closure before he died. Hopefully this will bring you some comfort. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

My condolences, Terry. My mom died of bone cancer, too. Hope your dad's passing was as swift and relatively pain-free as was her's. Best wishes to you and yours.

Thank you to all for the kind thoughts, we had the funeral yesterday and the interment will not happen until june when the ground is dry, they had hopped to do it today but the cemetary is under several feet of snow and they can't find any markers, so we must wait.
