I would like to sell my trusty electric melt. I want to downsize completely. When I made my studio I over sized everything. It runs at $500 per month and can be made to run more efficiently.
It needs to be rebuilt but everything is there. I have a new 150lb round bottom crucible. I have a new set of bayonet style elements but the old set are running fine.I have a special set of sleeves that eliminate the shorting problem with these elements. It has a Honeywell controller which shuts off the power when the door opens. I am selling it cheaply so I can get a 75 lb Stadelmelter. You can in fact buy the whole danged house and studio minus the tools. The house and studio have a breathtaking ocean view. All yours for $ 875.000 Cdn.

It has 2 bayonet style SiC elements made by I2R

It has specially made sleeves to stop the shorting problem.

As I mentioned I have a spare new set I ordered a few years ago. The old ones are going fine though.

The elements last for years.

I started using starbars but they would burn out and they were a problem to reinstall so I went to this system.

Also they enable me to put my furnace close to 2 walls so it saves me space; I have a small studio.
