Still looking for an assistant. I would like someone looking for a full time job that requires a lot of responsibilities. Some of the responsibilities are but not limited to mixing color batch, charging, set up of the shop for blowing, set up of the pieces and assistance at the bench (usually 4 days a week), coldworking, packing, cleaning. This is a two person shop including myself so there is a wide variety of jobs to be done.
Location is in western N.C. minutes from Penland School and a very active craft community. Also around an hours drive from Ashville.
Pay will be based on experience however I am the highest paying glass guy around here. Job can also come with some blow time.

Dave WAS working for Simple Syrup and also working with Bel-Vitro last time I knew...he most likely is trying to find something a bit more stable...you may be able to locate him through Simple Syrup.
