can multiple thermocouple wires from multiple pieces of equipment be run through the same conduit back to the control panel or do I need them each in their own ? I have six pairs of wires that need to go back.

Are they loose wires or individually wrapped (per pair)?

If they are loose, I'd say wire wrap each pair, then run the assortment through your conduit. It's been my experience that TC wires are sensitive to voltage/current from the mains but not to each other. Wrapping each pair makes it easier to ensure that the correct paired wires are kept together and go to the same controller.

Are those wires anything special?

I have not taken the time to really inspect them. Just standard copper or am I missing something?

Could I just bust out a Shield twisted pair of network cable and use it? I ask out of ignorance as I have never messed with anything but the cables that came with the thermocoupler.

I've seen several different types, which is why I asked. Most of the ones I've worked with appear to be a non-copper material. I've seen twisted pair, as well as shielded (with a metal braid) for use near high voltage/current applications, where the shield/braid is actually bonded/attached to the local/unit ground.

I run 3 sets of wires that are regular coated thermocouple wire inside one single electrical conduit and have never had a problem- one for my furnace to my partlow, 2 for my color box and annealer to my GB-4
