I was looking at glass on ebay last night and stumbled on an auction of one of my perfume bottles.....except it wasn't my bottle.
It was a bottle that I believe I saw in TJ Max about six months ago, made in China and selling for $10....The bottle in the auction has a polished bottom with my name etched in it.
Some of my galleries stick my work on Ebay for full price , so I guess this guy thought he'd cash in.

I emailed him to let him know how grateful I was about my name being put on Chinese glass and that it was a forgery....and to pull the auction.
About an hour later, he did.

Go ahead and notify them now, anyway - they work on the basis of aggregated complaints about a vendor. So start now with this guy, and next time there will be a record of previous complaints.

that sucks on 2 levels... one is that someone forged your name... 2nd is that there is work made in china like yours. sorry..

So given this dealers rating stats etc. are you confirming that the other items represented as yours are the real deal? His ratings would have us believe he has a bunch of satisfied customers;nothing negative.

The other auctions of my stuff at the top of his auction page are legitimate auctions by galleries that buy my glass, put it in their store, and put it on Ebay at full price ("Buy it Now" auctions). There is a bunch of them that use Ebay these days. I have seen a lot of high end glass there.

Eben, The Chinese bottle on the auction is a rip off of Micheal Nourot's bottles...except his are beautiful!!
It seems the Chinese glassblowers don't like my work enough to copy it.
