How's business during the recession/inflation?

Has the downturn reached any of us yet? Costs are obviously higher, my electric went up 20% July 1. Our sales are up for the year though, inexplicably. We reason that the tourists are financially better when gasoline prices are this high.

i hope your right ! Haven't had our two biggest sales yet, but hopefully the motorcyclists are the same- (we in sturgis, sd) I think people are bound and determined to go on vacation, even w/ the rising prices of everything-

we just had a HUGE motorcycle event here juast a couple weekends ago, Thunder in the VAlley, and they we're reporting record numbers....200k for the 4 days, and it keeps getting larger.....they thing with bikes, they are def. a lot cheaper to run than a car, so it made sense.........
so you guys shouldn't worry, I think you'll get a good crowd...

We had the Best May and June ever...July is looking slow...but we are 90% wholesale, so it's a different animal.

The lighting gig is still going strong and our classes are frequent and full. Energy costs (duh...) are where we are getting hit.
