I'd love to take a doubledip out of this (http://www.kitv.com/news/16816020/detail.html) (note: 50 secs of commercials & talkingheads), but then where to marver it? And I don't think anyone, maybe except Pete, makes color that's compatible.

What is the COE of lava anyway??

I forgot to bring a blowpipe to Guatemala.

Hawaiian lava is low silica and high in iron.

Plus - no annealer needed, no charge cycles
Minus - Hot working environment, flow can change and destroy your hot shop at any time.

The fast moving stuff is about 2000 degrees.

My geologist brother offers this info:

Hawaiian basalts (lava when molten)) contain about 50% silica, 10% each of iron, magnesium, calcium, about 15% aluminum, 2% titanium and 2% sodium.

Bill Worcester and Hugh Jenkins have experience in working with this stuff. If I remember correctly they used Iron pipes to gather it up blow it play with it and then cut the pipe off short and went in for another gather.

Bill had to sneak the pipe in. Playing with lava is discouraged.

Today Grasshopper you will pull a pony with a single gather of lava. Only then will you be given the keys to the hotshop.

Work quick.
