Holly are you up/down-sizing or have you decided to get out of glass?

Glenn, Thanks for asking.
I'm kind of moving sideways and away from blowing which I LOVE doing, but there is a confluence of factors. A family illness kept me away from my studio much of last year so I lost valuable marketing time. Because of the tightening financials- mine and customers- my sales are pretty low. There is also a persisting problem with my right hand- too many years of glass and professional landscaping.
So, that's all of the bad news. The good news is that I'm excited to do glass casting which I've always wanted to do but was mesmorized by blowing. Now I have a whole new learning curve to keep my mind whirring at night. I have a big garage that I could clean up and put my studio in there which would eliminate monthly rent on my commercial space.
So, it's all good. It will just take a while to make the change.

Holly, you could contact Lee Miltier about use of his shop for blowing if the urge come back. I just recuperated his furnace to keep his costs down.

Thanks Hugh, I've been working at another shop in the same building as my studio. Glad you could help Lee, he's a good friend.
