Hi all, Im finishing up the lampworking shop and starting to get into the building of the hotshop. Every now and again I see an Ad on craigslist or something where someone is selling an entire shop. Then usually I call and Its already been sold. I figured with such a tight-knit community someone here has got to know someone whos got things to sell. Anyone know of someone who has an available shop they are trying to sell?

David,
I have a gas fired furnace available. It's about 80 pound capacity, perfect for one person. The steel base was built to accommodate a fork truck which I also have at the shop for loading purposes.

But Simple syrup doesn't answer requests for things they are selling.
I have three pretty good sized blowers- flat impeller type I would be willing to sell.

I have a SiC furnace for sale.
You could build a lovely Mayne island style 150lb furnace from the parts.
Sturdy, strong and runs on about $300/month juice.

Actually, I have a 50KVA transformer I would sell along with three moly elements and 80 feet of 0000 stranded annealed insulated copper wire. This is stuff I have had for a long time to build a second moly, which I currently have no plans for, given my shiney new Stadelmuncher. You would still need a big contactor and the SCR. The transformer is really ugly but works fine. Everything else is new.
I also have six 14.5 inch engineered ceramics crucibles, brand new, nothing wrong with them, I would let go pretty reasonably, either one, or all.
And, no, Simply syrup never did call back. I still could use the rolling yoke.

I'm "downsizing" my hot shop and would like to sell the whole schebang for a good package price. 200# gas furnace, combustion train, G.H./ribbon burner, rolling yoke, bench, marver, extra crucible, fan motor, etc... everything but the annealer.
It's almost as far from NY as it could be but maybe someone on the Left Coast is interested.

That post looks like you are the one with the pots. I think they are actually mine and yes they are 5564's. The current EC Price is $306.00 I would sell any for $250.00 each. Three for $700.00 Shipping would be extra but given where you are you could drive up and eat at your favorite smokehouse..

maybe it was a confusing attempt at isolating that portion of your original post. i truly hope we are never mistaken for each other. as a wise man once told me, a spare on hand will come in handy, so yes i will take one. around the end of may i will be in your neck of the woods. i dont mind paying up front if you dont mind me picking it up at that time.
actually, an old friend opened the wild boar tavern - i know - another disturbing pig sign - but you can sit on the porch in a rocking chair and enjoy a beautiful view and a fine meal. the smokehouse may have met its match.
