Hi Katie,
no reply to my last post so I'll try again.
I cannot sign in with my original username which is greg gepp, (is this case sensitive ? I've used all possibilities anyway) and my old e-mail address was yahoo mail (and I understand I can't use that now).
But when I look for my password through your link, I am told that my legitimate home e-mail address is invalid.
All of my correspondence using the administrator link goes unanswered and unreturned.
In short there is no way in, except as I've done with a new identity, (strangely now my home e-mail address s accepted).
I would like to keep my original username.
Would you help please.
Thanks,
Greg.

katie has been away. Let me look. Simple question, are you using a free server for that email, like yahoo? I may have to cancel your old registration to let you re register. I am not very good at the tech end here.

Hi Pete,
I probably was using yahoo when I first registered, but my current address is grra@speedweb.com.au.
my username was greg gepp
I can be found in the archives, e.g. under "grinder speed".
How do I get my old ID back ?
thanks,
Greg.

did you have the "Fatcow" email address?

I may just have to delete both memberships and let you register all over, which I am sure will work but all your prior posts will simply credit "Guest". Is that OK?

Yes that was my studio e-mail box previously before I changed my ISP.
Can I simply change my current e-mail for the fat cow ID and keep my original username? I'd rather keep the prior posts under that name.

I am not sure. The problem comes up when it appears to the computer program we run that we have two separate users from the same computer registration. It allows one only. You are currently listed with the fatcow address on your old registration. I never looked at the one you are using under your assumed identity. Deleting you will work I'm sure but it will trash your brilliant observations previously posted for the world glass community...

So, sure try changing the address. I'm not sure it will allow that but we can find out.

I've used the reset password link with my old fatcow@westnet.com.au address but because that doesn't exist any more I expect that to bounce back. At least I know what address I registered under.
Do you know where I can change the address, I can't see any links that will do this.
My new one is grra@speedweb.com.au
Thanks for your patience maybe we'll learn something from this.
Greg.

It says that email is already in use so it won't let me change it. I think you either have to delete yourself as Greg Scott, or both and resurface as Greg gepp. Or I can delete you as Greg Scott and then change the address to your current one from Fatcow.

Was that confusing enough? ( I bet I have to do it)

Fatcow? Hmmmm.... Do you want to talk about it?

not confusing, yep delete greg scott, and change to current address from fatcow for my previous ID of greg gepp. I don't know how to change my address so please if you are able. Please let me know how it's done.
There are a lot of fat bovines down here, I live in milking country.

I believe you are deleted as Greg Scott and I have changed your mail under greg gepp to the speedweb one. You can't make the change yourself. It's an administrative function of the software. What I don't understand is why it still lists greg scott but now says "guest:

At a certain point I may have to delete greg Gepp and have you start over which will be unfortunate but I am a bear with a little brain and don't know where Katiemoe even is. So, I hope this works.
