I still have two new Laclede Christy Crucibles for sale. Buyer pays freight or pick up free. Had some weirdo on Ebay buy them from Mexico but didnt understand why they were so heavy. Long story.

GC 189 Fomlac Round Bottom 23 1/2" diam x 16.5" Tall 300lbs Theoretical glass capcity. $300 + shipping

GC 131 Low Alumina (emhart g-333 mix) Flat Bottom 23 1/4" Outside diam x 16" Tall Outside. 400lbs theoretical glass capacity. $250 plus shipping

Also have a 10" inside diam. gathering ring (laclede christy g-333) that I would recommend for the flat bottom pot, but would work on both. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Sounds like a deal. Btw, what is a "gathering ring"?

It keeps floating scum and snot from getting in your gather. It's used in larger pots with problematic glass bodies- cad sel reds or phosphate type opals. Gathering rings float.
