Hello All-

The limit switch on my furnace door was not fully activated; therefore, without my knowledge, my furnace was slowly ramping down over night. Of course, I walk in the studio this morning planning to blow and the 108 lb EC pot furnace temperature reads 1300 degrees. I usually blow at 2020 degrees, electric furnace.

How quickly can I ramp up? Can I ramp up 100 degrees per hour?

Thanks,
Terri

If it is at 1300 I would just turn it up and let it go as fast as it can. Problems start in the 1200 range when you go through quarts conversion.

Interestingly, New Hampshire is not Vermont. We do share the Connecticut river. The sane people seem to live on the western side. I would refer you back to your fifth grade geography class. The pigs are not a bad plan though.
