We recently finished a 400 pound Moly and I posted the photos on Photobucket. The photos are in two parts and the links are below. We made some changes in the way this one was built, trying to incorporate some things I picked up here. The wheel mounts I saw on Lawrence’s furnace. We added a removable ring to the frame so that we could deal with the Jellyroll without completely rebuilding the entire furnace. I saw this ring on some of Steve’s furnaces. It’s a real thoughtful concept. Thanks Steve.

This Furnace was fabricated and assembled at our shop and then disassembled moved to City Arts in Wichita. We put it back together there and cast the ring on site. We had to do it this way to get it into the elevator and up to the it’s third floor home.

So when will you have the rest of the photos up? That is pretty cool :)

What's a 'jellyroll'? The glass on the bottom of the floor? Will the front come off for a pot change?

The glass outside of the furnace refractories that have leaked through the wall along a seam, eating fiber as it goes. Not Good. Heat transfer Highway.
