Cleaning house/downsizing, have more than I will ever use:
I have 4lb. of old stock stannous chloride that I originally bought from Mason Chemical in Indiana. I'm wanting to sell it. $32/lb., all or any of it. + shipping, FOB Tennessee. Send me an e-mail fuhrman@heartoftn.net if interested.

Wow! I last bought 50lb of stannous chloride for 6.25 lb. That must have been 2005. I still have most of it. I should just quit glass entirely and live off of selling the contents of my chemical room.

And no, I don't actually want to sell any of it.

I bought orange juice last week at $1.50/1/2 gal. this week it's $2.49/1/2 gal. It's a screwed up hard to understand world. Not easy on us old guys.

Pete, when you let that cerium go let me know. That stuff has lifted a bit over the years as well. Along with gas, clean water, and printer ink.

well, actually, it's that dollars aren't worth very much anymore. I don't doubt the price of the Stannous Chloride at all. Stannous Oxide is about the same. I don't have that much cerium sadly, probably only about 20KG. I don't cerium my bases anymore, just the optical work. If I get to China, I will bring back a pile of it if I can. Now my can of Neodymium is pricey... I haven't even checked on the Cadmium sulphide. I think I got 700 lbs of it for $100 bucks, but I had to drive to Arkansas.

I think bottled water costs about the same as regular gas.
