I have three furnaces made by KleenAir of Portland. They were designed specifically for making color. I'm interested in selling one of them. I may be willing to sell just the burner system from one of them. Thermjet surface mix with everything included except the blower fan and the fire eye.
The bricks must have a high zirconium content. There is very little erosion and each furnace weighs 6000 lbs each without the door or face.
I'm asking $2500 obo for a furnace and $2000 obo for just the burner system.

6,000lbs? Really? I just built a three pot one that weighs under 1,000lbs and is all brick and casting.

We used the truck scales at the recycling center I live at to weigh the truck and trailer in and out and that's what we came up with. I got them from Manifesto Glass in Seattle and the 3000 lb forklift that they had there wouldn't lift one. I rented a 9000 lb forklift and the back tires on that one came off the ground a couple of times.
I assume the reason they are so dense is zirconium. They used one just for white and I don't see any rapid erosion happening after four years of use.
They're 30 inches wide inside. I'm pretty sure I could get three 80 lb crucibles in them. I was told they had 250 lb pots in them and there was still lots of room.
