Both of these are in excellent condition, the furnace is practically new, but they are just too big for our now smaller studio.

400 lb. Stadelman Electric Furnace, 3 phase. Purchased at the end of 2008, first used in April of 2010, last used in December of 2011 (less then 12 months of use, 3 times up and 3 down). $21,000. obo

HUB Glass, two door, front loading annealer: ID = 26 tall x 29 deep x 58 wide, built on 40 legs (approx.) to accommodate storage underneath (no controller). Purchased in the beginning of 2003, used in rotation with 4 other annealers, last used in the late fall of 2009. $6,000. obo

Olympic color rod has a message board if you are a customer. i have not tried to sell stuff there but I look at it sometimes. Schools might be another good place to sell something like that. I think there is some summer school that has glass in Massachusetts. Don't remember it's name but an assistant of mine had a summer job there. I was in a class at Penland with you and have followed your career a little with your " simple syrup " business and hearing of your downsizing. Good luck with selling your equipment.

Are you perhaps thinking of Snow Farm in western Mass. Cecil?

Nice to hear you have a new studio, Emily. Would be great to see you guys again someday, and I'll keep my ears open for anyone interested in this equipment but this is prob. the best place to list it as you already have.

Hi Cecil, Thanks for the suggestions. I just sent a posting request to OCR but it's been a while since I've ordered from them so ... worth a try though. Good to hear from you.

Hey Josh, A much smaller studio and yet I thought I'd still fit all my stuff in it ... silly me, eventually we'll figure it out ... Good to hear from you, hope you guys are doing well. Thanks for any help getting the word out.

This furnace is a 36kw unit that uses 9 each, 9/18 312/500 heaters. Spare everything can be obtained through Pete. It was wired at 208 three phase but could be used without modification on 240 three phase. On 208 it will draw 100 amps and should have a 125 amp breaker. On 240v it will draw 86 amps and should be run on a 110 amp breaker.
