And for $50 plus a certian %, you can get a refund.

Chris Lowry 03-13-2020 12:44 PM

Maybe Iím dreaming but hopefully the spread is over by then and we can go anyway. All the studios that were going to make this happen still need our support.

Peak infections are expected right now to be in July. the Current models project 160 million infections.

I have only had 1 gallery email about backing up their Phili show order. What has anyone else experienced . I am getting all my asap out as quickly as I can.

Chris Lowry 03-13-2020 02:50 PM

Pete, youíre dashing my dreams, I hate reality some times.

Pete VanderLaan 03-13-2020 03:43 PM

Sorry, death dashes all of them. Stick with staying alive. It will require creative thinking in the next year. 2008 was quite exciting enough. I think that a thread on cancellations of orders to be an interesting one. I'm simply shutting down for the summer soon and will garden and avoid people.

Holding gatherings at your studio is bad thinking.

Shawn Everette 03-13-2020 07:03 PM

We just cancelled everything for 2 weeks with 12 confirmed cases in the state. Gatherings over 250 are prohibited.

Monte Becker 03-16-2020 07:50 AM

CMOG is shut

The museum, make your own and rental - shut for the duration.

Ralph Laborde 03-17-2020 10:58 AM

We've shut down our BYO at the studio until the end of March when we will re-access the situation......hate refunding $$ Time to catch up on commissioned work. Our gallery remains open.

Marty Kremer 03-17-2020 05:23 PM

Yesterday I closed to students and renters, will reassess in two weeks.
Granted my shop isn't like a BYO, no one is licking glass cutters and nippers and passing them along, but still....

I'm still making stuff. I think it's inertia- I have no idea if any venues, not to mention customers, will survive. If it comes down to necessities, I'm at the end of the line. Heck, I won't even know where the line is.
