Not sure if this video has been posted here before, but it's quite a cool exploration of photochromic glasses, from a non-glass-specialist. This guy has a youtube channel where he makes a lot of interesting videos about projects in the overlap between the physics/chemistry/electromechanical worlds.

Was fun to see someone from a totally different background manage to run into such a wide cross-section of the issues that come along with making & melting glass in just a couple months of doing test melts.
