Sunspot from OCR

More chalcedony bars and frit. Pics of the bars look nice.

Anyone tried it?

I continue to make the best calcedonia bars out there. They are always an issue compared to drawing from the pot.

I have had great luck in remelting the remnants from my chalcedony batches. I just frit the glass into a homer bucket and it melts out again very nicely. I hope it doesn't cost me $55/kg.

The frit keeps the color rings nicely when blown.

Indeed,
Doug took my class and then went home and started making color rods direct from my formulas. I objected and said it was classless to do and was a violation of my copyright. He was pissed and said he would never have taken the class if he though I would object.
At one point he was making the copper ruby and could not get it to strike and constantly asked for help. On that momentous occasion I asked him what color his black tin was. He said "White". ( think hard on that) His first home attempts used playground sand from Home Depot.

He couldn't even come up with an original name for his knock offs. Iron Maiden. I did make a point of keeping all the correspondence. Meanwhile Dan has photocopies of all my internal run sheets. Where did those come from?

It's a lot of why I won't teach anymore.
