I saw one yesterday with all this cane leaning against a wall at Effetre. It was really remarkable. It looked like sheaves of wheat.

Go on Instagram and search for GASMurano2018. There's a ton of photos and videos. It was fantastic.

Thanks! I could get lost in there for hours.

Anyone know if Carroņa (red chandelier & crows) was made as a multiple, or does it just travel like crazy? It seems to show up all over the world.

The artist's website gives no indication that there are multiples. CMOG website has the status of the piece as "On Display."

The short answer is I don't know. My best guess would be that it was reproduced for the GAS conference (where better to have this done? just shove some stuffed crows in a box, and let the Italians make the glass )

I haven't been to the conferences before, however there was an artist that displayed glass/plasma work. His work was really a really nice combination of the glass and plasma effects.

Ed Kirshner and others have done the plasma stuff for years. There have even been entire neon exhibits at GAS for many years. I was in one of those sometime back in the 90's at Corning. Way back when they used to fill the entire bridge at Corning for an evening and 10 years before that it was inside.
