Thermocouple connector

Anyone use these connectors. I keep getting intermittent failures. I donít think itís the wires since it is so stiff and difficult for it to fail?
The connectorS look fragile.

In the Caribbean, it could be oxidation. Take the thing apart and clean the leads.

I have some of those things that are over thirty years old and they're fine. If it's intermittent, is that with one thermocouple or more than one. If it's one, Look hard at the thermocouple. If it's with more than one, throw away the connector.

Thanks for confirming it is tried and tested out there. I put a connector between The controler and the thermocouple. It was driving me crazy. Intermittent is the worst. I pulled it out and wired directly and all is well now.
