New Rule for Classifieds. Read it.

If you want to sell something, you have to price it. Don't say best offer. Price it and then say "or best offer." Apparently some people think that my observations about supply and demand are attempts at sarcasm. They're not. I am more than willing to host a classified section as a useful tool for glass artists, but not "I'm thinking of a number between one and a bazillion."

I'll delete stuff without prices from here on in.

Thank you so much for sharing Ed. Does anyone want to say how this makes them feel? Mad, Glad. Sad,. Afraid? Stupid?

Large Dino jacks for sale

Lightly used (fewer than 100 pieces) large jacks a friend brought back from Dino 15 years ago. Blades are perfect, pics to follow on Ebay. $1700, obo. Being specific is liberating.

Thats fine Andy but you should post it as a separate item and not within this highly instructive and lurid infomercial.

No, lurid. When people ask me how I am I usually reply "Fair to Maudlin".

Looking For Eclipse Thermjet Burner

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for 2 qty - Eclipse Thermjets P/N TJ025 (with or without the nozzles & I don't need the cobustor). If you have one or two just let me know what you want for them. Pictures are helpful if you have them.

Thanks,
Stephen Protheroe

Thermjets are the worst burner ever made. Terrible for glass melting. Short blue flames that don't impart a wide spectrum of energy deep into the retort. They are only good for satisfying the need of Eclipse to produce an all around burner with low emissions. Watts are not watts. Btu's are not btu's. A gallon of gas is not a gallon of gas. Otherwise all cars of same weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics would have the same mpg.

edit; just pretend I wrote this last year

I never let a little thing like that get between me and a rant.
