Arrow Technician/Fabricator Needed - Moana Glass Maui

Moana Glass is hiring a full time shop tech/fabricator. This is a tech position with some glassblowing and other artistic aspects. It's a great position for the right person. You'd be a good fit if you can build things plum and square with steel, blow glass, know how to bend metal and fab up artwork stands. The glassblowing part is less important than the others, but depending upon your skill level in the hot shop, you will be asked to blow glass as well as be a tech.

The job is full time and entails a multitude of duties:
* Building and maintaining equipment.
- Most equipment is built in house, although the furnace is a 400lb WD round daytank.
- New glory holes need to be built
- One huge hole needs to be finished
- A very large annealer needs to be built
- A small color furnace needs to be rebuilt
- General maintenance on existing equipment needs to happen too
* Building artwork stands.
* Blowing glass as a stand in or possibly as a regular glassblower for BYO lessons and assisting.
* Facilities maintenance.
* Wood work, both building things and making artwork stands.

Pay $17-25/hr depending on experience. I have built most of my equipment, thus a high level of tech experience is not required, I can train someone on the job.
