Glue/epoxy for glass lamp base to metal

Trying to a glass base to the metal hardware. What should I use?

Thing is massive... 24" base and 24" shade so it needs to be strong. Thanks!

Any good quality epoxy should be fine unless clarity of the joint is critical in which case Hxtal would be the adhesive of choice. Don't use a fast set epoxy but preferably a 24 hr one. In adhesive land, the general rule is that the faster the stuff sets, the weaker the joint.
