Anyone interested in making this?

Hi
I have a former client looking to get this piece made. I am attaching a photo and here are the dimension information: 15" x 15" at longest and widest points. There is a pair of two, antique lanterns from Belgium that have been rewired for electricity. The broken glass is on the left side of the photo.
The interior "mouth" is 16" across at the top rim. Inside, it is between 17-18" deep.
If you are interested please contact Nancy Wallace at: nancywallacegardens@me.com

Thanks!
Barb

I would imagine that Eben can do that without great difficulty.

I could make this but I am so busy lately. In the middle of a full furnace rebuild, am late on orders and am booked out for at least 2 months. Plus I just bought a boat, so my hands are full and my head is spinning lately.

I don't think she is in a big hurry - it took her over two months to get the actual dimensions back to me. But if you have any interest in doing it in the future you have her email address.
Or is there anyone else who wants to do it?

Oh God! He bought a boat. Now he's going to sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Actually, I was going to say the opposite. Having bought a "hole in the water that needs money", I was thinking Eben would be working overtime from now on just to keep it afloat. :-)

But you may be right Pete...

"If you give a man a fish, you feed him and his family for a day. But if you teach a man to fish, he'll spend the rest of his life in the boat drinking beer."

With you and MaryBeth !

Greg has it right. This will force me to work harder. I don't think the boat will require tons of money but time will tell I guess.

It should be clear to anyone why Jesus walked on water. He knew that having a boat would be nothing but trouble.
Very artful hijacking by the way...

Boats are great family fun, and for drinking beer.

That reminds me, I need to get on YouTube and study up on how to replace the outdrive boot because a muskrat chewed it up last Fall. Lucky I noticed it before the bilge pump drained the battery!

That sounds like a beer drinking opportunity, right?

Judge, I would like to submit the following testimony as evidence that Mr. Horton is not of sound mind and body.

When you get that one fixed up you'll want a bigger one, with a berth in a marina!

A galley with a good fridge and a 3 burner stove with an oven would be a nice thing to have. I see keeping this for at least 10 years, then upgrade to something larger and live on it down south in the winter and spend summers up north.

There's quality hijacking going on, and I'm not involved.

Why was I not informed of this?

Just tell Barb "Yes". You're going to need the money.

I have friends that did that several years ago. From Canada, but bought a 50ft sailboat in Texas and then sailed from there down to Panama (many, many stops along the way), through the canal and then back up to Mexico, where the boat is currently moored.

They come back here usually during the winter to work and dive. Lots of cool stories and quite the boat. 50ft is indeed impressive, and from what they told me, about the minimum length to really enjoy sailing the ocean.

OK so I'm just going to give Nancy Eben's website and let her know you are busy for a few months and to contact you later.

Onward with your boating stories boys!

It should be "Gouge'em Brothers. Boats in Florida are really cool until a hurricane comes.

Oh yeah. Know those products well.

Rosanna, do you work with Jamestown distributors at all? I've been using their total boat products and like them a lot.
