Thermocouple

I believe that this is a type R thermocouple from a Denver Glass EF135 furnace. $160 including UPS ground shipping, con US.

without proper documentation, that is a thermocouple housing with an unknown set of wires. They could be a type S or an R and the gauge, which has a great effect on the price is also unknown. Price is also affected by length which is not mentioned.

Ok,thanks. I had called Denver and inquired about their thermocouples, that is how I came up with a type r. I bought it from them. The length of the actual ceramic sheath is 13". I hope this explains things. I haven't done any furnace work in a dozen years so I have forgotten quite a bit.

Thank you. While the sheath could stand replacing, it's not an expensive part. As a Type R at that length, it's a very good price assuming a 20-22 gauge wire.
