It turned out to be a contactor that sometimes when it closed was creating some sort of surge or short. Also the SCR is out of calibration so if I set the current limit say at 95 its letting 126amp through. For the time being I just lowered the current limit further down. When I shut down next I may send it in to have it calibrated.
