glass crucible

I have always purchased my 200lb pots from engineered ceramics in north Illinois. I can not seem to find them are they out of business.

My 200# crucible from hi temp/Pete has preformed every bit as good as the old ones from E.C. maybe better.

Where are you looking for them? Selee Corporation is the holding company of EC and Selee bought EC for only one reason and that was a ceramic filter for another firm they also hold. A strange purchase.
As to quality, there are people who swear at, or swear by every manufacturer of crucibles out there. I repped both companies and did the mold designs for both as well. I'd just as soon not get into who is better than who. They all do different things depending on differing needs.

You could try googling Selee Corp.

Thank you . I was purchasing from them because they were within driving distance for me . So no shipping costs. I get about three years out of the crucible . And that's with batching
