100A fuse for moly furnace

Just a question about the big fuse that is part of my 200lb Stadelman moly furnace. It is a 100A, 700v fuse, of which I'll try to include a photo attachment. I've had to replace it a few times over the course of 7 years, so it's something I try to have multiple backups of on the shelf. The first few I bought were like $70-80 each, but when re-ordering recently, I found the same spec ones through Amazon (4 for $74 total!) But they came from China, in a very poorly protected envelope, and my question is if there is a way I can test these to see if they are not broken inside before having to install each in the furnace control panel? Can this be done with a multimeter somehow? Thanks in advance!

You can do a continuity test with a multimeter. I like the ones that have a separate audible continuity setting but if you don't, the ohm setting will work fine. If you have an audible setting you will get a noise if there is continuity. If you are using the ohm meter touch the two probes together and see what the meter reads. If you have continuity across the fuse you will see the same reading.

I like to use allfuses.com. Good prices, free shipping on orders over $50.

Thanks Jordan, that test seemed to work to show that all four were good to go.
