Hot torch knobs

Is it ok if my torch knob get warm.
Hope it does not explode

Sorry, not only the knobs but the body of the torch. Also the knobs are really levers. An oLd torch used for scientific framework.

that torch may have been designed for natural gas and not propane so it may be running hotter than it was designed to run. you may have to see if you can change the orifice.

Running it out of spec is not recommended but glassblower’s work on the edge so I am not worried

Tom the older you get the wiser you get. It may be nat gas. You are right.
It’s a beautiful torch. No nat gas here.

Of course it depends on how hot but in general it is NOT a good idea.
