well, you are giving it away.

When I look around at all this stuff, these tools and how long it took and how difficult it was to recondition and then learn to use them, MB and I both know that our shop is virtually worthless.

I have people now who contact me seeing if I'll teach a two day course citing everything I know. I pass not letting them know it's actually an insult.

It gives me a clear understanding of why the knowledge goes away every other generation.

If I was younger, I'd want the laps. I have six already, and twenty plates. It's not enough if you're really serious. No one understands that. When Steuben shut down, all their grinding tools went to the landfill. We're going right back to owning a 106 belt sander qualifies you as a beveler.

I would love to pull together a consortium where we bought the whole shop together. I don't think I can even find the conspirators.
Where are we going and why am I in this basket?

I think anyone who could handle taking over an established studio like yours already has a studio. Most newbies won’t be able to handle it.
