Rosenberg Residency

I'm forwarding Jeff Mentuck's entire email.
Spring is here……right? The days are longer, starting to get warmer, the buds are almost out on the trees, but the real sign of spring is the Rosenberg Residency Application!

The Rosenberg Residency is a glassblowing residency that takes place at Salem State University in Salem Massachusetts. This year the dates are June 13th to July 13th. Four weeks of glassblowing fun! Four Artists are chosen to take part in the residency. Housing and meal cards are provided as well as access to the studio every weekday. The residents work as teams assisting each other to produce their work. It’s a great opportunity for Artists hoping to explore an idea or create a line of work, or hone their skills.

If you are interested, please check out the application below. There is no Application fee!

If you know someone who might be interested please pass the application or my email address along to them! We prefer to spend the budget of the residency on the artists needs and not a big marketing effort so we count on the good nature and kind spirit of glass workers to spread the word!

If you work in a shop and you can post the PDF below, or even just a copy of this email, that would also help!

Thanks for your help in spreading the word! Our mission here is to provide an opportunity for Glass Artists to move ahead in their career and in their work by providing a studio and support for their individual vision!
