Can't make a ventilator with a concentrator.

Although it would help you to have o2 to recover at home.

Never say never. With a little Trini ingenuity, somebody might pull one off with a palm frond, balloon, and a clothespin!

I've been following a lot of the efforts to design a low cost ventilator. Here is some light bathroom reading for anyone who is interested. Not rocket science but a matter of getting airway pressures and flows correct.

How Ventilators Work

Generating Positive Airway Pressure

Ventilator using Hospital Air Supply (Italian)

Tesla Video of their Ventilator

Bag Valve Mask Type Ventilators

MIT Version
Open Source Ventilator Project

Commercial Designs

Medtronic Ventilator Design Files that have been released...The license is not open source and only grants temporary use of data.
