Online reservations systems for classes

Wondering what people are using for online reservations systems for their classes, thinking about updating from the paper and pencil method to cut down on phone calls.
Any thoughts?
Daniel

I want the phone calls. I want the conversation. I learn a lot from them. I learn how to flag a big "NO".

I agree with Pete. Human interaction is what I want in today's society. I am much more forgiving with being able to adapt and answer questions that may come up that an online reservation system just can't do.

Peek. Best business model that we have found. We don't use it for our long classes but for the come and make an ornament kind of thing it is awesome. They are easy on the cost and responsive when you need a feature or have a problem. A lot of these reservations systems are way too costly to the customer and the vendor. As Pete said though we like to have a conversation with folks on the long courses to better set expectations and guide folks to the right class for them.

This is the link for the Peek folks. https://peekpro.com/

Pete's right on the money. I manage the apartment building where I've lived for the past 25 years and have only recently, and reluctantly, acquired my first smartphone. Too many rental prospects now expect to have nothing but text contact until they show up (or not) to see a vacancy. And many contractors and vendors now work exclusively via smartphone. I find this modern "convenience" results in more time wasted showing people apartments that won't work for them (or me).

Square

I have not used it but Square Up has an appointment feature. I use them for CC processing. Not sure if the $30 a month is worth the cost.
