REPAIRING/PATCHING cracked blocks?

Greeting, do any of you have any suggestions for repairing cracked blocks. Thx,

A lot of the cracks are not important. Soak the block and see if they close back up. I have put hose clamps around some that are round and they can continue to work just fine.

You can try soaking them for a few days, and then clamp, drill and screw.
Drill the hole on one side of the crack to the full clearance of the screw, and pilot a hole through to the other side so the thread pulls it closed.
Mileage may vary.

Art Reed at Sweetwater Glass continues to make fine blocks. . I had always thought that if your blocks cracked that you posted them on Ebay and sold them to naive collectors for more than you paid for them.
