Mesh of silica flour
What mesh silica flour do you use for molds.
I can imagine it linked to the details you want so let's use fingerprints as the highest detail. Will 200 mesh work? Ok just found I may be able to get 400 mesh. Franklin Last edited by Franklin Sankar; 12-10-2017 at 08:38 AM. Reason: More information |

325 mesh seems to be the mesh of choice. Flint is silica, is quartz.
I've seen mixes that use both a 200 and a 325 mesh. 325 is considerably more expensive. When I get plaster, I immediately transfer it into airtight canisters that cat food comes in Delicat is my favorite. I must have about 100 or them at this point. If you leave it out in humidity, it will wreck it.

Just my not so good humor. I follow your footprint exactly as instructed so the need for a cat and the airtight canister. If it don't work it's because I have 3 dogs but no cat.
