Antique Glass ID Needed

Grabbed this beauty in NOLA for $25 when I was there for New Year's... any thoughts?

Who is in NOLA? I want to make a "glass trip" out there soon. Tulane is on my list for an eventual MFA/places to live.

Beautiful orange color. Love the mold, too.

I'm in NOLA, and i don't know anyone who has that mold or who would make that....as for your place for a MFA, if you want to do glass sculpture, it is fine. If you want to make vessels, not your place....

Cool. Yeah, I'm into sculpture, large scale public art, and modern/contemporary art. But also really love making vessels.

Tulane offers a FULL ride, including stipends, and a paid teaching job. It's pretty hard to pass up.

Visited Alfred, which was great. But I don't think I could live in the middle of nowhere, even if it's near Corning. Tallahassee is already a pretty small place... I don't want to downsize.

That leaves VCU... which I've yet to visit.

Where's your shop, Mark?

I was the first graduate from Tulane's MFA program, and those are the reasons that I went there
My shop is across the river on Algiers Point.

Alfred, in it's own weird way is SO FAR from the middle of nowhere it's in the center, you just don't have a clue sometimes.

Mark's shop is really quite cool I have never seen a glass shop with a working area with a ceiling so low...I kid I kid. I found it quite easy to find the last time I was over that way. Next time I will plan to come over in the winter so I can talk him into some time in the shop.

Really neat showcase area as well he really has his game together.

Speaking of Arden she owes me a Moly Element.....I think it is lost to time at this point. I should force Ryan to call her she is super sweet on him.
