I will say that I have been selling to David and Ann for many years and they still have a viable gallery attached to their shop. Ann even placed an order in Philly this week!

Dale liked to speculate at times about how Jaimey could make such large work alone. It bothered him. I had always thought it was because of his capacity to hook his foot around the opposing leg of the bench and pull while using his leg to create added strength. I'd abet that roller wheels could reduce one's capacity to develop any kind of tension to nothing, just rolling around on the floor.
Big at that time was relative. 26 inches was big but keep in mind there were no assistants. I often have wondered what Jaimey would have done with the material had he not had his contract expire at RISD, another story for another time. I think in reality, it was the best thing that ever could have happened to him. Such a gentle soul. I saw him last at Corning. We had a quick drink together. I have enormous respect for that man.
