Pneumatic puffer gun

If I were to put a regulator with pressure gauge on a compressed air puffer gun, does anybody have any advice on preferred air pressure ranges to throttle it down to a more workable output?

I use a cheap one from Harbor Freight hooked up to a long shafted cone ended blow nozzle also from Harbor Freight. I think I have it set for about 5-10 psi but I adjust it for what I am using it for.

I also use the little paint regulator from HF. I use the one with out the gauge. I found just a little air flow is all you need.
