So, I bought an Exact from someone on the board. Hooked it up yesterday, and it works fine (thanks Steve).

It looks like this gasket should be replaced. Is this the "o ring" that's referred to here? HUB has a replacement gasket listed. Is that the same one? Just curious before I start calling around, so I know what to call it.

That's the POL gasket Greg as near as I can see. You could need the o ring that goes it the control valve. Mine certainly wore out and it was very hard to set an idle for the thing.

Thanks Pete. POL gasket makes sense. Just scanning the vendors that supply the rebuild kits, and it looks like those kits are for the handset only. Maybe I just didn't look closely enough.

I intend to procure one of those kits eventually, so I'll make sure to mention the gasket. If you're reading this Steve, the torch works fine, and I'm happy with it. It's only going to see sporadic use for the next year at least, so I'm in no hurry. I don't detect any leaks, and the pilot control seems to work fine. I'm just more of a "preventative maintenance" type. I've got bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Thanks again.
