Sources? They come and go so fast. I want 120-200 lbs.

They do not appear to handle it anymore Kenny and that's true of a number of former jobbers including FUSCO. Two of the three that are listed here were what I thought was really expensive in the 2.00+ lb range with one being a boutique assault at the best over 4.50 lb. I have a quote in for 200 lbs from one supplier not even listed and I'm looking for about $1.20 lb in a single 200 lb drum which is what I used to do only the last time I bought a drum I think it was about a dollar a lb.

I've been using Sunbelt Industries in Little Falls NY for years.

Thanks Marty, I'll call them Monday. I'm waiting for a quote from Calix industries in Amherst NY as well. I appreciate the help. Now if I could find a place to rebuild one of my 35 year old dynafiles.

So far, Calix is $3.00 lb at 300 lbs which I find outrageous. I did better with one in Idaho at $1.71 but shipping was prohibitive. I'm waiting on Sunbelt.

Sunbelt is really interesting. They sell recycle grit as well as new and have excellent prices on both. I've never used a recycle but the interesting thing on SiC is when it fractures, it has a sharp edge. I'll try 50 lbs of each and if the recycle works out, I'll get a drum.

...So, I can't do fifty lbs of the new grit. It is $1.30 lb in 300lb drums and they don't want to break down a drum. They would however sell me two 50 pound boxes of the recycle in 120 mesh for 1 dollar a pound, an excellent price. When SiC fractures, again it breaks sharp and this stuff is recycle from a coarse grit. I'll try it out and report back. The brand new is $1.30lb in 300 lb drums, probably a bit more than I will need in this lifetime. But Sunbelt runs away with it as the best deal.
